HOUSE RULES

  1. The House rules are implemented to help ensure the safety and harmonious living of all tenants, minimise any form of persistent nuisance and discourage the damage to the property.

    1. Any person who contravenes or fails to comply with any provision of the House Rules, or any conditions imposed by or directions given in terms of the House Rules, shall be deemed to have breached these House Rules and will be subject to any penalties imposed and which may include the imposition of fines.

    2. In the event of a breach by members of the Tenant’s household, employees, invitees and guests, the Tenant shall be liable for the payment of any fines imposed.

    3. Any fine imposed on a Tenant, in terms of clause 1.1 or 1.2, shall be a debt due and payable by the Tenant on demand.

    4. In the event of a continuing offence, any person subject to these House Rules who contravene or fails to comply with any of their provisions, or any condition or direction given in terms thereof, shall be deemed to be guilty of a breach of their lease agreement and will result in their lease agreement being terminated.

  2. Tenants in breach of the House Rules will be issued with a notice that will also serve as a warning. The notice and/or warning will also include the fine penalty amount due and payable by the Tenant. If the Tenant persists to breach the House Rules more than two times, the third notice will be in the form of a termination letter requesting you to vacate the Unit.
